Most support calls are one of three questions: how much have I used, what speed am I on, and why did it drop earlier. This answers all three without a human.

What subscribers see

  • Usage split — free-window against metered-window consumption, shown separately, so the number matches what they actually experience
  • Current speed, read from the subscriber's live queue on the router — day, night and free-window rates show within 30 seconds of a change, with nothing to edit
  • Cache speed beside real download and upload, so the customer knows cached games and updates run faster than the plan
  • Cached traffic left out of the count — downloads served from local caches never appear in their usage, exactly as the quota engine treats them
  • Connection history — every session start and stop. This is the panel that ends the "your internet is broken" argument, because the customer can see their own power cut
  • Renewal date and remaining allowance

Why it matters

A portal that reports a number the customer does not recognise creates more calls than it prevents. The usage split exists because a single total is misleading the moment you run any kind of free window, and a stale speed field makes you look like you are throttling people you are not.

The usage figure comes from the same meter that enforces the quota, so the portal, the staff panel and the throttle always agree. And if an optional data source is ever unavailable, the page falls back to the RADIUS figure instead of refusing the login.
