These terms cover the use of culmensoft.com and the software and services offered through it.

Who you are dealing with

Culmen is operated by Mahmoud Hussein as a sole proprietorship, based in Lebanon. It is not a registered company. "We" and "us" below mean that sole proprietorship. Contact: contact@culmensoft.com.

How buying works

There is no checkout on this site. Prices are shown so you know what things cost, but nothing can be purchased automatically. You send an enquiry, we agree the scope in writing, and an invoice is issued. Payment terms, delivery dates and any variation from the published price are set out in that written agreement, which takes precedence over anything on this website.

Prices

All prices are in United States dollars and exclude any tax, duty or bank charge that may apply where you are. You are responsible for taxes in your own jurisdiction. Prices may change; the price that applies is the one on your invoice.

Licences

• Perpetual licence. One payment. You may run that version of the software indefinitely, on your own hardware, for your own network. It includes 12 months of updates from purchase; after that the software keeps working and updates become optional.
• Monthly licence. Billed monthly, cancellable at any time with no minimum term. The right to run the software ends when the subscription ends.
• Licences are tied to a subscriber tier, not metered per subscriber. Growing inside your tier costs nothing more.
• You may not resell, sublicense, or redistribute the software, or offer it as a service to third parties, without written agreement.

Downloads

Scripts, templates and written material are licensed for use within your own organisation. You may adapt them for your own network. You may not republish or resell them.

Services

Remote engineering has a defined deliverable and a fixed price agreed before work starts. Work outside that scope is quoted separately. Delivery depends on you providing access, information and hardware details in reasonable time.

What you are responsible for

• Your own hardware, upstream connectivity and backups.
• Complying with the law where you operate, including telecoms licensing, data protection, and any lawful-interception or content-filtering obligations.
• Keeping your own credentials secure.

Acceptable use

The software must not be used to intercept, monitor or filter traffic unlawfully, to conceal criminal activity, or in any way that breaks the law where you operate. Support may be withdrawn where use is clearly unlawful.

Warranties, and their limits

Software and services are provided with reasonable skill and care. They are not warranted to be uninterrupted or error-free, and they are not warranted to be fit for a purpose you have not described to us. Network equipment, connectivity and third-party systems are outside our control.

Limitation of liability

Nothing here limits liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim, and there is no liability for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, lost revenue, or lost data.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Lebanon, and the courts of Lebanon have jurisdiction. This reflects where the business is actually operated. If a registered entity is established elsewhere in future, this will be updated and the change published here.

Changes

These terms may change. The date at the top shows when. Terms agreed in a signed order are not changed by a later edit to this page.
